Sustainable Manufacturing: What Does OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Certification Mean?

Sustainability in the textile and accessory sector is no longer optional. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 is one of the most important documents that brands exporting to the European market demand from their suppliers.

OEKO-TEX Standard 100 is an independent certification system that documents that textile products and accessories do not contain chemical substances harmful to human health. Audited by Germany's Hohenstein Institute, this certification covers four different product classes from baby products to workwear.

At Dikmen Metal, all brass and zamak accessories are covered by OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class I certification. This means they can be safely used in all textile applications, including baby garments. Our certification covers the entire production chain from coating process chemicals to raw materials.

Demanding this document in supplier selection helps both meet a brand's legal obligations and strengthen consumer confidence.
